02 — Discover the universe

One Sacred Universe

Discover the timeless world of Sanatan Dharma through sound, knowledge, devotion and experience. Fifteen doorways turn slowly around a single centre. Choose one.

The centre

Bindu

The still point from which every path begins.

An offering — outside the sequence

What does your soul
seek today?

Name the need. The library answers with a mantra to hold, a sound to sit with, a story to remember and a verse to carry.

03 — Listen

Sacred Sounds

Listen with intention. Every recording opens on the Arhat Sacred Sounds channel; the drone below is generated live in your browser to tune the room before you begin.

Playback of recordings happens on YouTube — this player is the discovery layer around the channel, not a copy of it. The tanpura drone is synthesised in the browser with the Web Audio API and needs no connection.

The sung tradition

Bhajans, Aartis
& Chalisas

Devotion in the languages people actually speak — Awadhi, Braj, Gujarati, Hindi, Sanskrit. Each entry carries its poet, its century, the refrain everyone knows, and the hour it belongs to.

Refrains are given as they are sung, with the poet named where the tradition names one. Several of these are anonymous or communal compositions — where authorship is uncertain the entry says so rather than guessing.

04 — Meet the divine

Meet the Divine

Eight portals, each opening into names, mantras, stories, festivals, temples and daily practice. Each plate is drawn here from the iconography the tradition uses to recognise the deity — trishula and damaru, flute and feather, conch and chakra — inside a temple arch.

05 — Discover the mantras

The Power of
Sacred Sound

A searchable library of mantras with Devanagari, transliteration, meaning, source and the way each is traditionally practised.

Mantras are presented as they are received in tradition, with the source named wherever one exists. Descriptions record what practitioners hold and do — they are not medical or scientific claims, and nothing here is a substitute for professional care.

06 — Explore the wisdom

Wisdom That Endures

A library built for slow reading. Each collection carries its own passages — original text, transliteration, translation and commentary held side by side. Choose a collection; the reader follows.

Stories of Sanatan

The tradition remembers itself in stories. Ten cycles, retold plainly, each anchored to the text it comes from.

07 — Experience sacred India

Sacred India

Fourteen temples and pilgrimage seats, placed by their real coordinates. Select a point to read its deity, history and season.

Boundaries are drawn as depicted by the Government of India, including the whole of Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh and Aksai Chin, and the island territories. This map plots Hindu temples and pilgrimage sites only. Sacred places belonging to other traditions — the Harmandir Sahib in Amritsar among them, which is a Sikh Gurdwara — are not included here, and are not Hindu temples.

08 — Follow the festivals

Live With the Rhythm
of the Sacred

The year moves by the moon. Every date below is computed in your browser from the actual positions of the sun and moon, by the tithi prevailing at sunrise over Ujjain — the classical reference meridian.

09 — Begin your daily practice

Your Daily
Sacred Practice

Choose only what you will actually keep. A practice is measured by its steadiness, not its size.

Morning & evening
Length of the journey

Day 0 of 21

Nothing is counted until you begin.

Your practice is kept only in this browser. There are no streaks to lose and no reminders that shame you — the mandala simply fills as you return.

The reading room

Sanatan Knowledge

Long-form articles on philosophy, Sanskrit, ritual, architecture and practice — written plainly, sourced honestly.

10 — Join the community

The Arhat Community

A quiet room, not a feed. Daily mantra, festival reminders, saved practice and the shared silence of people keeping the same hours.

11 — Return to the sound

From Sound to
Sacred Space

Everything here began on a channel. The website is the intelligent layer around it — the channel remains the home of the sound.

The sacred is everywhere.
